Practising the 2010 standard sequence over EGBG, the canopy of my pitts flew [sic] open and took my headset with it.
The wiring came flying past my face and the jack plug promptly punched a hole in my rudder! 🙁
Strangely it was during the last figure? I was making my final point of a 4 point hesitation roll, when the canopy decided to let in some fresh air!
